The Archdiocese of Chicago provides disability insurance to help continue your income if you cannot work due to sickness or injury. No contributions are required. All full-time and part time benefits eligible employees are automatically enrolled in long-term disability insurance. In order to receive LTD benefits, employees must be scheduled to work a minimum of 26 hours a week for at least 8 months out of the year
You coverage will take effect on the month following your first complete month of service for the Archdiocese. For example, if you are hired on June 15th, your first complete month of service would occur in July. Therefore, on August 1st your benefits will begin.
